Welcome to Pawz Unleashed, a Dog Walking company founded upon dreams! Established in 2013 and with over 11 years of Professional Dog Walking and Pet-Care experience, I am committed to providing you and your pup with an exceptional standard of service and care. You can have peace of mind knowing that your Rover is in good hands, even on the rainiest Vancouver days!
As a Boutique Dog Walker, I offer the unique quality of building a one-on-one relationship with your pup. NO random Dog Walkers who come and go from your pups life. Instead, I give the benefit of deepening the relationship with your dog which allows for greater consistency, trust, and a blossoming friendship as we walk together. This service is also great for dogs who tend to get anxious around new people.
How did I get started? After graduating from Simon Fraser University and working as a Financial Advisor at a bank for many years, I felt something was amiss in my life. I took a year long journey throughout East Asia where I had a major revelation: Make my passion my life!
Utilizing Dog Walking services myself when I worked full time, I understand what a dog owner is looking for: someone who is energetic, responsible, has genuine love for animals and is knowledgeable in dog training, safety and behavior. I can happily provide your pup with all these assets as I have previously trained as a vet tech while working at a Veterinary Hospital AND I’m Walks ‘n’ Wags Pet First Aid certified.
Growing up with only cats, I wanted to return my Golden Retriever puppy back to his breeders a week after getting him! I feared the responsibility of walking him three times a day for the rest of his life! Fortunately, I persevered and within a couple of weeks, he captured my heart. Already having a natural affinity for the outdoors, exploring mountain trails, and anything adventure, I now had a furry best-friend by my side to accompany me! Who would have thought that my fear would grow into my passion and that my passion would turn into my inspiration in creating my dream job!
